If you have not already done so, write your race story. Find a trusted friend/s to share it. (There are resources to help you - especially if you are white and new to understanding your white culture and how it’s shaped your life experience.)

Examen your daily life. Notice where you have opportunities to build cross-racial friendships and be intentional to make new friends.
Choose one of your regular activities/hobbies - can you do it in a more diverse community?

Attend your local (NPU) community gatherings. How can you participate in efforts that lead to more equity and justice?
Understand how your vocation or industry is perpetuating or fighting again racial inequity. What is your role in shaping that?
