What To Do

    • Visit museums and sites of historical significance in racial history

    • If you have not already done so, write your race story. Find a trusted friend/s to share it. (There are resources to help you - especially if you are white and new to understanding your white culture and how it’s shaped your life experience.)

    • Examen your daily life. Notice where you have opportunities to build cross-racial friendships and be intentional to make new friends.

    • Choose one of your regular activities/hobbies - can you do it in a more diverse community?

    • Attend your local (NPU) community gatherings. How can you participate in efforts that lead to more equity and justice?

    • Understand how your vocation or industry is perpetuating or fighting again racial inequity. What is your role in shaping that?

    • Learn the local history of your place

    • Connect with a local organization engaged in justice efforts
